Existing projects will update to the new version automatically except for one item: the wire sizing table. The impedance (Z) values for breakers are converted to reactance (X) and resistance (R). For standard copper wires, these values are automatically upgraded to the correct value based on NEC Table 9. Other wires are upgraded so that X2+R2=Z2, but otherwise are not correct. You will need to manually go back and review the X and R values in your wire sizing table and update them if necessary.
