Released September 11, 2024.
The following is a list of new and updated features in ElectroBIM 2.2.2.
Length and area inputs are now based upon the settings in the Revit Project Units command.
Feeder and circuit lengths now use the units set in the Revit Project Units command for length.
If the Revit area unit is Imperial, wire and conduit areas will continue to use square inches and circular mils. If the Revit area unit is metric, the areas will use square millimeters.
The Circuit Edit dialog box has been updated.
The most noticable improvement is support for editing multiple circuits at once, including circuits on different panels.
The Family Edit dialog box has been reorganized to be more usable.
All of the family types are displayed in a vertical list, making families with several types easier to manage.
Default settings for the family have been removed; each type is configured explicitly.
Multiple types can be edited at once. Settings can also be copied from one type to other types.
A new Set in Instance value is available for most settings. When selected, the setting is modified in the instance in the project instead of being fixed by the family.
The Single-Line Diagram Device Graphics and Single-Line Diagram Feeder Graphics customization commands now have dialog boxes.
This change makes it easier to view and modify how the single-line diagram graphics are organized.
ElectroBIM on Revit 2020 is being frozen at version 2.2.1. The features described above will be available in Revit 2021 and later.
