Released May 8, 2023.
The following is a list of new and updated features in Design Master Electrical RT 2.1.2.
The Generate One-Line command allows you to insert part or all of your single-line diagram into a Revit drafting view in a vertical one-line configuration. Simply run the command, select a starting point, and the software will do the rest.
New settings in the the Panel Edit, Instance Edit, Family Edit, and Project Options commands allow you to customize which graphics are used for each device and feeder when it is generated.
New single-line feeder connection points have been added to the Insert Connection Point command. You can now specify different connection points for top lugs and bottom lugs connections to your graphic families.
New fields have been added to the Panel Edit and Conduit Sizes commands that can be used to coordinate your Design Master Electrical RT conduit runs with EVOLVE Electrical. Assign Conduit Run Ids to your feeders, then use the new Export->EVOLVE command to generate an Excel file that can be imported into your EVOLVE project.
Several updates have been made to the Panel Edit dialog box. The UI has been given a new, cleaner look.
You can now select multiple equipment in the model, single-line, or dialog box, then make changes to all of the selected equipment at once.
In addition to the Tree list, you can now use the alphabetically sorted List to find your equipment.
For custom feeders, you can now define a custom feeder ID that will appear on the single-line diagram and feeder schedule.
The Calculate Whole Project command now prompts for confirmation before running. This confirmation prompt has also been added to the Calculate Whole Project and Calculate Part of Project buttons in the Panel Edit command.
Options have been added to the Calculate Part of Project command that allow you to choose whether distribution equipment and/or branch circuit values are recalculated, and whether one-line diagram labels and graphics are updated.
New categories have been added to the Project Options dialog box to accommodate settings for new features and make it easier to locate the settings you want to change. The Customization->Export and Customization->Import command toggles include these new categories.
