Electrical for Revit 2.1.3 Beta Available
Design Master Electrical RT 2.1.3 Beta was released on September 28, 2023 and is now available. It adds a new feature that allows you to drive values in Design Master using your shared parameters.
This beta replaces the current version of Design Master Electrical RT when installed and is required on all the computers running the software at your office. The beta updates all projects it’s used on, and these updated projects aren’t compatible with previous software versions.
We recommend having a secure backup system in place to ensure it’s easy to retrieve a copy of a project from the prior day, and the previous week and month.
As with any new version, there’s a possibility for bugs to be addressed promptly as they’re identified, and frequent updates will be made available.
For more information on the beta release, see the link below.

Revit doesn't handle bus ducts well. There are a few different ways you can model them, each with different tradeoffs. We will explore the options that are available, with an eye toward how the options impact single-line diagrams and calculations in Design Master Electrical RT.
12/21/23: Custom Single-Line Diagram Graphics Learn how to customize the graphics for your single-line diagram. We will explore modifying the graphics provided with Design Master and creating your own from scratch.
