AutoCAD 2024 & Revit 2024 Support
Autodesk released AutoCAD 2024 and Revit 2024 on March 28th and April 4th, respectively. All of our CAD-based software is compatible with AutoCAD 2024. Electrical RT is compatible with Revit 2024.
The beta version of Design Master Electrical RT 2.1.2 is now available. The new features include automatic generation of the one-line diagram, exporting conduit information to eVolve, and edit multiple support for the Panel Edit command.
We especially want to hear from our Revit users who also use eVolve Electrical. How useful is this feature to you?
Design Master Software has officially relocated to Cary, North Carolina.

User-Submitted Meter Center & CT Cabinet Families for Revit
Brian Muir of Muir Engineering has long advocated for more collaboration among Design Master users and MEP professionals in general. He asked us to share some Revit families he developed for meter centers and CT cabinets.
DISCLAIMER: These families were inspected by Design Master Software for general useability. Design Master Software has not evaluated their usefulness in live projects. Download and use these families at your own risk.
H+W Engineering was formed in early 2017 when Bryan Wayne, PE, joined forces with the founder of Harmon & Associates, mechanical engineer Tom Harmon, PE. Their firm has experienced significant growth in the last six years; “we’ve got about 50 people that work here,” Bryan estimates. And with projects that include commercial TI, life science, data centers, hospitality, and multifamily dwellings, they stay busy. “We’re doing something right,” he says.
The H+W Engineering electrical department first purchased Design Master Electrical for AutoCAD in 2019 to evaluate its effectiveness, then ramped up its use in early 2022. “We started to use Design Master [beyond evaluating it] about a year ago, and now we’re trying to use it exclusively for everything. Our goal is to be 100% Design Master in both CAD and Revit by [2023].”

June 15, 2023: eVolve Integration
eVolve Electrical is a tool to help electrical contractors in Revit. It includes a lot of features to route conduit. Our new eVolve Export command links the conduit sizes in DM Electrical RT with the conduit sizes in eVolve Electrical. Learn about how the export works and what information we can transfer for you.
