Episode 4 of the Electrical Building Design Show, Revit 2024: New Features for Electrical Engineers, is now available. In this installment, David Robison looks at Revit 2024 and explores its newest features tailored specifically to the needs of electrical engineers.

The fifth episode will premiere on Tuesday, December 12, so be sure to visit the Design Master YouTube channel and subscribe for notifications of new releases.

As of this publication, there are currently four episodes available:

For those who prefer audio podcasts instead, there’s a version of the show in that format also. It’s carried on all the major podcast channels (Spotify, Apple, Google, Amazon, etc.), and can be found by searching for the show by name.

Effective today, December 4th, 2023, Design Master Electrical RT is being renamed. The popular and award-winning software is now called "ElectroBIM".

We are changing the name to make it easier to differentiate from Design Master Electrical and reflect its place as the premiere electrical design software for Revit.

The name has been changed on our website and in the new installers released today. As much of the user interface as possible has been updated with the new name. If you dig deep you will be able to find references to Design Master Electrical RT. We will slowly get those deeper references updated in future releases of ElectroBIM.

After taking a few months off, we’ve got a new customer story ready to share. This month we talked with Eric Baker of Martell Electric, LLC in South Bend, Indiana.

Eric started using Design Master almost a year ago and was keen to talk with us about his thoughts, feelings, and experiences using Design Master in both his own and his team’s work.
