Autodesk released AutoCAD 2020 last week. All of our software is compatible with AutoCAD 2020.
Make sure to install the latest update to ensure the version you have will work with AutoCAD 2020.
The beta version of Design Master Electrical 8.6 is now available. The major new feature in this release is time-current curves for breakers. These curves can be used for selective coordination and arc-flash calculations.
A complete list of new features is available on our website.
We are actively looking for feedback on the new features we have added. There are a few ways you can help by giving us your input.
Join us for a webinar covering the new features on Wednesday, April 10 at 11:00am Eastern time. We will demonstrate all the new features. You will have a chance to provide feedback during the webinar. Your comments will help us refine the features before their final release. Attending the webinar is an easy way to provide feedback without being a beta tester.
Current Design Master Electrical customers are welcome to install and use the new software. It is production ready and currently being used by other customers on real projects. Reply to this email if you are interested in beta testing.
We are looking for input on breakers you plan on using in future projects.
Breaker curves have to be manually added to the software by us. At this point, the difference between our software and SKM or Easy Power is the database of breakers that are included.
As we work on adding breakers, you likely will discover that a breaker curve you need is not available in the software. When that happens, let us know what breaker you are using. We will get it loaded and available within a few days.
If you can let us know now what breakers you are likely to use in the future, we can add them so they are available when the software is released.
Every Design Master user has a story to tell. We enjoy sharing them, and other customers enjoy learning about how other people are using the software. Would you be interested in telling us your story?
Published stories from other customers can be viewed on our website.
We'll interview you over the phone, then craft a narrative based upon the information you provide. We will work with you to make sure the story meets your approval. It will then be published to our website and featured in a future newsletter.
