Export Drawing to DWG File

The Export Drawing to DWG File command is used to export all of the 3D-BIM elements from the current drawing to a DWG file. The DWG file format is recommended for 3D collision detection in Navisworks.

To export the current drawing to a DWG file, go to
Ribbon: DM Plumbing→3D-BIM→  Export Drawing to DWG File
Pulldown Menu: DM Plumbing→3D-BIM→Export Drawing to DWG File

Select Filename to Export 3D Blocks to Dialog Box​

Enter a name and location for the DWG file, then press the button. The current drawing will be saved to the DWG file.
