How Design Master Sets Layers

Rather than being controlled through the AutoCAD LAYER command, layers for Design Master HVAC entities are controlled by the project settings in the Layers command. See the Layers page in the User Manual for more information about how the command works.

One common customization is the creation of a "Demo" layer system. The video below shows how to create a new layer system, assign a new layer to layer keys in that system, and assign devices to the new layer system.
