Inserting Eccentric Transitions
To insert an eccentric transition or an eccentric reducer using Design Master HVAC, you need to change how the ductwork is aligned to the centerline.
To do this, modify the duct(s) using the Query Duct or Edit Multiple Ducts command, then set the Horizontal Alignment ▾ to Flat on Right or Flat on Left.
You can also set the alignment when initially inserting the duct.
When you change this setting, the duct centerline will define the edge of the duct instead.
warning
If you change the offset in the middle of the run, the ductwork will not line up.
You can change your offset when you branch at a tee or when you turn at an elbow, or follow the steps in the Changing Duct Offset in the Middle of a Run article.
