Segment Insert

Allows you to add segments to a feeder on the single-line diagram.

You will be prompted to specify an existing feeder segment from which the new feeder segment will be drawn.

Selecting a Middle Feeder Segment

If the selected feeder segment has connected segments on both endpoints, you will then be prompted for the starting location of the new feeder segment.

Specify starting point of feeder segment:

You will then be prompted to specify points to which feeder segments will be drawn. The point from which each segment will be drawn will be marked on the drafting view as a guide.

Specify next point of feeder:

The feeder will be drawn to the specified point in a straight line from the previous point. Continue specifying points, or press ESC to finish the command.

Selecting an End Feeder Segment

If the selected feeder segment has an endpoint with no connecting feeder segment, the new feeder segment will be drawn from that endpoint. The endpoint will be marked as a guide. You will then be prompted to specify points to which feeder segments will be drawn. The point from which each segment will be drawn will be marked on the drafting view as a guide.

Specify next point of feeder:

The feeder will be drawn to the specified point in a straight line from the previous point. Continue specifying points, or press ESC to finish the command.
