Modifying a Branch Circuit Device
How to work with branch circuit devices.
Start in the Panel Schedule for panel E.
Enable Circuit Descriptions with ElectroBIM
With ElectroBIM, circuit descriptions can be changed in several different places to give you greater control over the values displayed in the panel schedule. By default, this functionality is bypassed so you can continue to set circuit descriptions through typical Revit methods if you prefer.
To control your circuit descriptions using ElectroBIM:
-
Run the
ElectroBIM Design→ command. The Options dialog box will open. Customization→ Project Options
-
Set Circuit description method ▾ to Use ElectroBIM circuit descriptions.
-
Press the button to close the dialog box.
Modify the Elevator Motor
-
Select circuit 1 on the panel schedule and run the
ElectroBIM Design→ command. The Instance Edit dialog box will open for the elevator motor on the circuit. Instance Edit
noteThis functionality is only for circuits with one branch circuit device. If the circuit has multiple devices, the
command will be run instead, and the current distribution equipment will be active. Panel Edit
