Rename Database

The Rename Database command is used to change the name of the database file associated with the current drawing. It will change the suffix of the file when viewed in Windows Explorer. Nothing else in the project will be changed.

To rename the database, go to
Ribbon: DM Electrical→Utilities→  â†’Rename Database
Pulldown Menu: DM Electrical→Utilities→Rename Database

  •  Project Name: The new name of the database.

Enter the new Project Name and press the button. The suffix of the database file associated with the current drawing will be changed. No other changes will be made in the project.
