Query Device

The Query Device command allows you to select any device and view and edit the information associated with it. It will work with distribution equipment, light fixtures, receptacles, equipment, switches, junction boxes, low voltage devices, conduits, and cable trays.

To query a device, go to
Ribbon: DM Electrical→Devices→  Query Device
Pulldown Menu: DM Electrical→Modify Devices→Query Device

You will be prompted to select a device to query.

Select device to query:

After you select a device, a dialog box will open displaying the information about the selected device. This dialog box can be used to view and modify the information related to the device.
