Inserting Receptacles

This tutorial teaches you how to insert receptacles on your drawing.

Open drawing E-2.1,2.

Insert Receptacles

1. Run the Insert Receptacle command. The Insert Receptacle dialog box will open.
   Ribbon: DM Electrical→Devices→  Insert Receptacle
   Pulldown Menu: DM Electrical→Receptacles→Insert Receptacle

2. Set Receptacle Type ☰ to Duplex.

3. Press the button to close the dialog box.

4. Follow the prompts at the command line to insert receptacles on the drawing.

The Insert Receptacle command allows you to insert multiple receptacles on the drawing. You can also create additional receptacles by using the standard CAD COPY command.
