Creating Receptacles

This tutorial teaches you how to create a receptacle type in the receptacle schedule.

Open drawing E-2.1,2.

Create Receptacle Type Duplex​

  1. Run the Receptacle Project Schedule command. The Receptacle Project Schedule dialog box will open.
    Ribbon: DM Electrical→Devices→  Receptacle Project Schedule
    Pulldown Menu: DM Electrical→Receptacles→Receptacle Project Schedule

  2. Press the button. The New dialog box will open.

  3. Set New Receptacle Type to Duplex.

  4. Press the button to create the receptacle type.

Create Receptacle Type Quad​

  1. Press the button. The New dialog box will open.

  2. Set New Receptacle Type to Quad.

  3. Press the button to create the receptacle type.

  4. Press the button. The Select Receptacle Block dialog box will open.

  5. Set Receptacle Description ☰ to Quad.

  6. Press the button to set the block.

  7. Set Panel Description to QUAD RECEPTACLE.

  8. Set Connected (kVA) to 0.36.

  9. Press the button to save your changes.
