Updating the One-Line Diagram

This tutorial teaches you how to make changes to your one-line diagram.

Open drawing E-4.1.

Change the Distribution Equipment​

  1. Run the Panels command. The Panel dialog box will open.
    Ribbon: DM Electrical→Distribution Equipment→  Panels
    Pulldown Menu: DM Electrical→Distribution Equipment→Panels

  2. Press the button.

  3. Select panel L2.

  4. Press the button.

  5. Set Bus Amps ▾ to 150.

  6. Press the button.

  7. Press the button.

  8. Run the Query Device command.
    Ribbon: DM Electrical→Devices→  Query Device
    Pulldown Menu: DM Electrical→Modify Devices→Query Device

  9. Select transformer T1 on the drawing. The Transformers dialog box will open.

  10. Set KVA ▾ to 150.

  11. Press the button.

  12. Press the button.

Update the One-Line Diagram to Match​

Run the Update One-Line Diagram command.
Ribbon: DM Electrical→One-Line Diagram→  Update One-Line Diagram
Pulldown Menu: DM Electrical→One-Line Diagram→Update One-Line Diagram

The labels on transformer T1 and panel L2 will update to match the changes that were made.
