Updating Panel Schedules

This tutorial teaches you how to update panel schedules that are already on your drawing.

Open drawing E-4.2.

Update Panel Schedules​

  1. Run the Update Distribution Equipment Schedule command.
    Ribbon: DM Electrical→Distribution Equipment→  Update Distribution Equipment Schedule
    Pulldown Menu: DM Electrical→Distribution Equipment Schedules→Update Distribution Equipment Schedule

  2. Select the panel schedule for panel L1. A dialog box will ask you, "Recalculate loads between distribution equipment?"

  3. Press the button.

The circuit values will update on the panel schedule, but the values in the footer will not.

  1. Run the Update Distribution Equipment Schedule command.
    Ribbon: DM Electrical→Distribution Equipment→  Update Distribution Equipment Schedule
    Pulldown Menu: DM Electrical→Distribution Equipment Schedules→Update Distribution Equipment Schedule

  2. Select the panel schedule for panel L1. A dialog box will ask you, "Recalculate loads between distribution equipment?"

  3. Press the button.

The values in the footer will be updated.

Answering to the prompt will make the update take longer, but updates the footer with the correct information.

  1. Run the Update Distribution Equipment Schedule command.

    Pulldown Menu: DM Electrical→Distribution Equipment Schedules→Update Distribution Equipment Schedule

  2. Select the panel schedule for panel H1. A dialog box will ask you, "Recalculate loads between distribution equipment?"

  3. Press the button.

The circuit values and the footer values will be updated in the schedule. The footer values update because they were recalculated when panel schedule L1 was updated the second time.
