Adding Loads Directly to Circuits

This tutorial teaches you how to add loads to a panel without inserting devices on the drawing.

Loads can be added to circuits on any drawing in the project.

Open drawing E-0.1.

Add Loads to Circuits​

  1. Run the Circuiting command. The Circuiting dialog box will open.
    Ribbon: DM Electrical→Circuit and Homeruns→  Circuiting
    Pulldown Menu: DM Electrical→Circuit and Homeruns→Circuiting

  2. Set Distribution Equipment ▾ to H1.

  3. Select circuit 2.

  4. Press the button. The Set Circuit Information dialog box will open.

  5. Set Circuit Description Prefix to EXISTING RECEPTACLES.

  6. Set Receptacles to 1.8.

  7. Press the button.

  8. Select circuit 4.

  9. Press the button. The Change Number of Poles dialog box will open.

  10. Set 🔘 Number of Poles to Three.

  11. Press the button.

  12. Press the button. The Set Circuit Information dialog box will open.

  13. Set Phase 1 Description Prefix to EXISTING ELEVATOR.

  14. Set Largest Motor to 10.

  15. Press the button.
