Circuiting Devices
This tutorial teaches you how to connect devices on the drawing to circuits on a panel.
Open drawing E-2.1,2. There should be receptacles on the drawing that were inserted in the Inserting Receptacles tutorial.
Connect Devices to a Circuit​

Run the
Circuiting command. The Circuiting dialog box will open.
Ribbon:DM Electrical→Circuit and Homeruns→ Circuiting
Pulldown Menu:DM Electrical→Circuit and Homeruns→Circuiting -
Set Distribution Equipment ▾ to L1.

Select circuit 7.

Press the button.

Select some of the receptacles, then press ENTER to connect them to the circuit.

With no devices selected, press ENTER once. The current circuit will increment to the next circuit.

Select the remaining receptacles and press ENTER to connect them to the next circuit.

With no devices selected, press ENTER twice. The Circuiting dialog box will open again.
Connect Devices to a Different Circuit​

Select a circuit that is currently a space, such as circuit 11.

Press the button.

Select some of the receptacles that are already connected to a circuit, then press ENTER to connect them to the new circuit. The devices will be removed from the circuit they were on and connected to the new circuit.

With no devices selected, press ENTER twice. The Circuiting dialog box will open again.

Press the button to close the dialog box.
