Error When Copying Electrical Devices
When I copy electrical devices, the copied callouts and labels are broken and not associated with the device.​
Cause​
This is a bug in AutoCAD that occurs when the COPY command is used on devices that are on one or more frozen layers.
Solution​
The solution is to thaw all of the Design Master layers.
Often, it is the 3D layer that is frozen. If you froze the 3D layer because you do not want the 3D blocks to appear on your drawing, you can turn them off using the
In the 3D Drafting section, set Insert 3D blocks on drawing ▾ to No.
After changing this setting, run the Coordinate Drawings and Database command to remove any 3D blocks already inserted on a drawing.
