Minimum Conduit Size

When wires and conduits are sized automatically, how do I set a minimum conduit size?

You can set which conduit sizes Design Master Electrical uses in the Conduit Size section of the Wire Sizing command.

There are two different ways to set a minimum conduit size:

Uncheck the ☐ Standard Boxes

The ☐ Standard Branch and ☐ Standard Feeder columns control whether each conduit size is used when the conduit is sized automatically for branch circuits or for feeders, respectively.

Uncheck one or both boxes for any conduit sizes that should not be used.

This solution is recommended, as the smaller conduit sizes can still be selected manually and re-enabled as standard sizes later.

Delete the Unused Conduit Sizes

Use the button to delete any conduit sizes below the minimum size you want.
