Thank you!

We appreciate you taking our Building Information Modeling in the MEP Industry survey. Results will be published near the end of the year.

Results summaries and links to the full results of previous surveys are available below:

MEP BIM 2018 Survey Results: The use of BIM for 3D collision detection has not changed in 9 years.

MEP BIM 2017 Survey Results: Most projects do not include 3D collision detection. The use of BIM on projects continues to remain stable.

MEP BIM 2016 Survey Results: Most projects do not include 3D collision detection. Predictions from the survey in 2013 overestimated use of 3D collision detection. Expectations for use in 2019 are even lower.

MEP BIM 2015 Survey Results: Most projects do not include 3D collision detection. Predictions from the survey in 2012 overestimated use of 3D collision detection. Expectations for use in 2018 continue to be lowered.

MEP BIM 2014 Survey Results: Most projects do not include 3D collision detection. Predictions from the survey in 2011 overestimated use of 3D collision detection. Expectations for use in 2017 are lower than they were last year for 2016.

MEP BIM 2013 Survey Results: Most projects do not include 3D collision detection, but people think most projects will by 2016. Predictions from the first survey in 2010 overestimated use of 3D collision detection.

MEP BIM 2012 Survey Results: Most projects do not include 3D collision detection, but people think most projects will by 2015.

MEP BIM 2011 Survey Results: Most projects do not include 3D collision detection, but people think most projects will by 2014.

MEP BIM 2010 Survey Results: Most projects do not include 3D collision detection, but people think most projects will by 2013.
